These are words used on the blog that you may not know. All the words on this list can be found on the blog in blue, (this list will grow as time goes on):
Moon - n. The natural satellite of the earth, visible (chiefly at night) by reflected light from the sun.
Venus - n. The second planet from the sun, having an average radius of 6,052 kilometers (3,761 miles) and a mass 0.815 times that of Earth.
Planet - n. A celestial body moving in an elliptical orbit around a star.
Star - n. A fixed luminous point in the night sky that is a large, remote incandescent body like the sun.
Craters - n. A large, bowl-shaped cavity in the ground or on the surface of a planet or the moon caused by an explosion, the impact of a meteorite, etc.
Jupiter - n. The largest planet in the solar system, a gas giant that is the fifth in order from the sun and one of the brightest objects in the night sky.
Star Constellations - n. A group of stars forming a recognizable pattern that is traditionally named after its apparent form or identified with a mythological figure. Modern astronomers divide the sky into eighty-eight constellations with defined boundaries.
Orion's Belt - n. an asterism in the constellation Orion. It consists of the three bright stars: ζ Ori (Alnitak), ε Ori(Alnilam), and δ Ori (Mintaka).
